Son of a Nigerian father and a Dutch mother, William grew up in the Netherlands and always dreamt of becoming a football player in the Premier League. Now he plays football for PAOK in Thessaloniki and Nigeria’s national team. The international defender joins us just months after leading Nigeria’s Super Eagles to the AFCON finals in Ivory Coast, where he was Nigeria’s joint top goalscorer — and the tournament’s MVP.
